The Course
Where Do We Run?
=
Glad you asked…The relay begins at Lakes Regional Park in Ft Myers, an inner-city 279 acre facility featuring 158 acres of freshwater quarry lake, and finishes 180 miles later at Indian Riverside park in Jensen Beach, FL – an absolutely gorgeous 54 acre park on the shores of Indian River and a stones throw from the Atlantic.
In between participants can expect to run over bridges and causeways, on roads and trails. Over 50 miles of the course takes place on the south side Lake Okeechobee scenic trail, an exceptionally well maintained and paved pathway through some of the most spectacular wildlife areas Florida has to offer.
Nearing the end of the run you’ll experience the breathtaking views of Indian River, Jensen Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Finishing on the lush tropical grounds of the 54 acre park at Indian Riverside not only will the finish line and a sense of accomplishment greet you – but a darn good time as well!

***A NOTE ABOUT LEG MAPS***
These maps will almost certainly change some before race day – it’s just the crazy relay world we live in. With that said, we wouldn’t expect any major changes to leg distances unless we need to work around some unforseen event prior to race day. So, while your legs may change in length by 1/4 mile or so, don’t expect it to go from 3 miles up to 8 miles or vice versa. This website will always have the most up to date leg maps, with details of any changes made.
